Eligibility


  • Associate Member: Physicians who are not licensed, but are graduates of a medical school in United States or Canada, or international medical graduates certified by Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG), are eligible to become an associate member of the ACAP.
  • Student Member: Medical students are eligible to become a student member of the ACAP.
  • Member: Physicians licensed in any state of the United States are eligible to become a member of the ACAP.
  • Honorary Member: Non-physicians substantial contribution to the purposes of the ACAP may be nominated by the Executive Committee as an honorary member of the ACAP


Annual Dues


For budgetary purposes the Executive Committee, subject to the approval of the different membership categories in 2002 will be as follow:
  • Honorary Members: waived
  • Lifetime Membership: $1000
  • Full Membership: $100
  • Associate Membership: $50
  • Student Membership: $25


Note:
  • The payment of annual dues is a prerequisite for membership in the ACAP. Annual dues are a requirement for voting or running for elected positions.
  • Members may elect to pay a lifetime dues of $1000 in a lump sum, which will permanently waive their annual dues.
  • Annual dues are payable on upon acceptance to ACAP, and before March 1 of every calendar year.
