Henry Chen, MD


Henry Chen, MD., is an attending physician at Lutheran Hospital, Brooklyn, New York. He graduated from Guangzhou Medical College, China in 1982. He earned his Master Degree of Surgery in Sun Yat-Sen University, School of Medicine 1987. Dr. Chen completed his Internal Medicine residency training at New York Hospital of Queens 1996, and started his private practice since then. He is the founder and president of Jennan Comprehensive Medical PC with three different locations. He is Board certified Internist and licensed physician acupuncturist. He is very actively involved in the Chinese community activities and Chinese physician organizations including ACAP and Homecrest Community Services. He is currently serving as the Vice President of ACAP and board member of Homecrest Community Services. Through Dr. Chen's effort and leadership, Lutheran Hospital has established a Chinese unit in its medical/surgical floor, which is the first of this kind of setting among hospitals in New York City.
